Laïka's Take Off Remixes by Loan & Al'Tarba
Quelques mois après la sortie de leur album "Laïka's Take Off", Minimal Orchestra a confié aux artistes du label, Al'Tarba et Loan, le soin d'interpréter leur répertoire, en laissant libre cours à leur imagination d'explorer leur univers sous une autre couleur... Pari plus que réussi avec le track de la productrice Loan qui, en remixant le titre "Laïka's Take Off", distille ses influences bass music aux accents dub/techno qui se mêlent à ses atmosphères cinématiques toujours plus prononcées, enrobant ainsi l'electronica jazzifiante de Minimal Orchestra d'un voile feutré aux sonorités organiques et granuleuses, poussant encore plus loin la rencontre entre humain et machines... Quant à Al'Tarba, fidèle à son école abstract hip-hop, il propose une interprétation du titre "Baïkonour" beaucoup plus "terrienne", nous invitant dans son univers musical singulièrement urbain et cinématographique. Grâce aux délicates envolées de Minimal Orchestra, c'est dans une contrée résolument mélancolique qu'il nous emporte, tout en retenue, avec une référence non dissimulé à l’univers de Taxi Driver. Nul doute que la chienne Laïka explore un univers encore plus vaste et profond grâce à ses deux remixes de haut vol spatial....

Only few months after the release of their album "Laïka's Take Off", Minimal Orchestraasked two artists of their record label, Al'Tarba and Loan, to read into their works letting their imagination run wild through their musical universe.
Challenge met with great success on "Laïka's Take Off" song remixed by Loan, on which she instilled her well-known expertise ; bass music with dub/techno hints mixed with more and more distinctive cinematic atmospheres that wrap up Minimal Orchestra's jazzy electronica with a soft veil of organic and textured sounds, pushing further the encounter of human and machine...
As for Al'Tarba, staying true to his Abstract Hip Hop origines, he offers one more earthling interpretation of the song "Baïkonour", inviting the audience in his singular urban and cinematographic musical world. Building on the subtile soaring of Minimal Orchestra theme, he carries the listeners with reserve in a melancolic land, with an open reference to Taxi Driver.
No doubt that the dog Laïka is exploring further a greater and deeper universe with these two top-flight remixes....
